Job Summary

Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of GM wide innovation events and borough-based business events, coordinating venues, speakers and partners while following safeguarding and equality policies.

  • Ownership: annual events calendar aligned to KPI targets and local college schedules.
  • Operations: coordinate venues, speakers, and partner ecosystems across multiple locations.
  • Governance: ensure policy alignment and safeguarding across all events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate an annual GM-wide innovation events calendar aligned to programme objectives, GMCA KPI targets and local College schedules.
  • Work collaboratively to plan and deliver a programme of borough-based business events
  • Identify, secure and manage venues across partner Colleges and external locations.
  • Liaise with keynote speakers, ecosystem partners and subject matter experts.
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience of planning and delivering professional events from concept to completion.
  • Experience coordinating events across different locations.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in using graphic design software, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
