Job Summary

Own end to end event marketing operations for ASFP, coordinating campaigns, content, and logistics to drive attendance and deliver a polished delegate experience.

  • Event Campaign Ownership: Build and run email, website, and social programs around ASFP events to maximize registrations and engagement.
  • Logistics and Experience: Manage bookings, registrations, on site/virtual delivery, and post event follow up to ensure high attendee satisfaction.
  • Brand, Content, and Collaboration: Align messaging, materials, and stakeholder coordination with internal teams, sponsors, and suppliers to scale event impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event Promotion Execution: Plan and deliver campaigns for ASFP events across email, website, and social media.
  • Content & Creative Support: Create and schedule promotional content including event listings, email campaigns, and social posts.
  • Event Pages & Platforms: Maintain and update event pages on the ASFP website and events platform.
  • Brand & Messaging Consistency: Ensure branding and messaging across all event communications.
  • Materials Development: Support promotional materials including graphics, brochures, and presentations.
  • Booking & Registrations: Manage event bookings from enquiry to confirmation, process registrations and invoicing.
  • Attendance & Sales Support: Monitor bookings and support sales to hit attendance targets.
  • Logistics & Onsite/Virtual Support: Provide onsite or virtual event support and coordinate platforms, speakers, and materials.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, speakers, sponsors, and external suppliers.
  • Post-Event & Reporting: Assist with post-event follow-up, feedback surveys, and reporting.

Requirements

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience in marketing, events, or administrative role (1–2 years preferred).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM systems and/or event platforms (desirable).
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with Canva (necessary) and video editing platforms including Descript (ideal).
  • Some experience with Adobe Suite; training will be provided where required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • ASFP competency requirements (training provided if required) and related certifications.

Preferred

  • Experience delivering events (in-person and/or virtual).
  • Experience working in a membership organisation or not-for-profit.
  • Knowledge of CRM/email marketing systems.
