Job Summary

Own fundraising and brand storytelling across campaigns to raise awareness and drive donor engagement for a children’s palliative care charity.

  • Brand & Campaign Leadership: Own multi-channel campaigns that raise awareness and drive fundraising aligned to organisational strategy.
  • Content & Creative: Generate engaging content ideas for fundraising and brand campaigns to boost targeted engagement and showcase impact.
  • Communications & Stakeholder: Develop brand communications and report to the Head of Engagement, coordinating with teams to deliver on goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver marketing campaigns that will drive awareness of Rainbow Trust and support fundraising activity to strengthen our position as experts in children’s palliative care
  • Create, developing and delivering the brand campaigns and communication strategies
  • Take the lead on generating creative, engaging content and ideas for fundraising and brand awareness campaigns that drive increased targeted engagement to showcase our work, build on organisational strategy and deliver our fundraising ambition
  • Report to the Head of Engagement

Requirements

  • An experienced marketing and communications manager – you have a motivational engaging style, who can draw out information and ideas of others
  • Lively and enthusiastic – you are outgoing, with a collaborative approach to achieving goals through knowledge-sharing and effective delegation. You are excellent at building rapport and developing good working relationships
  • A multi-tasker with a sense of urgency for goal achievement – you work at a faster than average pace, delegating effectively with thorough follow-up, and are quick to learn
  • An innovative, practical and creative problem-solver – you are a big picture thinker that responds quickly to varied activities and changing conditions. You will have experience in developing and delivering communication and media strategy
