Job Summary

Own content creation and storytelling across digital channels, including patient stories and video, with event media and ongoing marketing operations to keep the team moving.

  • Content & Storytelling: Produce social and website content, edit short videos, and craft patient and supporter stories.
  • Media & Events: Photograph and video at events, support PR and fundraising coverage, and manage event content needs.
  • Operations & Scheduling: Provide admin support, assist email/website updates, and help keep the team running; driving licence required.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging content for social media, our website and digital campaigns.
  • Capturing photographs and video content at events and around the hospice.
  • Editing short videos and creating digital content.
  • Writing stories about our patients, supporters, volunteers and staff.
  • Supporting PR opportunities and media coverage.
  • Helping promote fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Assisting with email communications, printed materials and website updates.
  • Providing day-to-day support to help keep our busy marketing team running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Is creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoys creating engaging content for digital platforms.
  • Has an eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Is confident using social media.
  • Can manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • Enjoys meeting people and telling their stories.
  • Is willing to learn, take initiative and work as part of a supportive team.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
  • There will be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends to support events and community activities.
  • This is a part-time role for 30 hours per week

Preferred

  • Experience of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing or website content management would be an advantage.
