Job Description
In 2024 we published our Cultural Engagement Strategy which underpins our commitment to growing, diversifying and cohering our cultural offer to wider audiences as an important element of our civic role. In September 2025 we launched open up (openup.leeds.ac.uk) - a new one stop web portal and central ticketing system for cultural activity on campus.
To support the team we are recruiting a Marketing and Audience Development Assistant with demonstrable experience in the arts, and a track record of supporting the creation and development of media campaigns on different channels.
Reporting to the Marketing and Audience Development Manager you will support the workload for open up, including taking responsibility for shaping and developing the brand’s presence across social media. This will involve content creation from the ideas stage through to filming and analysis, providing key statistics needed to report to the wider open up strategy.
You will also assist on marketing campaigns led by the Marketing and Audience Development Manager.
