Job Summary

Own the teaching and curriculum development for the Marketing and Branding Programme with a focus on rigorous, inclusive fashion marketing education and strong student support.

Curriculum and Teaching: Lead or contribute to the delivery and development of the marketing curriculum in collaboration with colleagues, pushing innovative and critical directions.
Student Support: Provide pastoral care, monitor progress and attendance, and maintain accurate records for a year group.
Inclusive Pedagogy: Apply creative teaching methods that challenge canonical perspectives and promote diversity and inclusivity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Contribute to the delivery and development of teaching and scholarly activity on the Marketing and Branding Programme.
Help students gain the skills and experience they need to succeed in the dynamic world of fashion marketing.
Work closely with colleagues across the marketing courses, applying specialist knowledge to advance the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
Provide pastoral support for a year group of students, monitoring progress and attendance, maintaining accurate records and liaising with colleagues as appropriate.
Develop teaching and learning that encourages critical engagement, challenges canonical perspectives of fashion marketing and promotes diversity and inclusivity.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
A higher degree, teaching qualification, or Fellowship of the Advance Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) is desirable, it is not essential.
Previous teaching and assessment experience in Higher Education or an equivalent context.
Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills are essential.
Ability to apply creative and inclusive approaches to teaching, learning and professional practice.
