Job Summary

Own the agency relationship and delivery governance for media and creative, ensuring scope, cost, risk and quality meet CRUK standards across campaigns.

  • Agency Performance and Delivery: Coordinate media and creative partners to meet briefs, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Commercial Governance: Manage annual scopes of work, cost tracking, and contract governance to prevent creep.
  • Risk and Stakeholder Ops: Serve as senior operational contact, resolve delivery risks, and align with internal stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Owning the relationship with our media and creative agency partners, ensuring work is delivered to scope, cost and quality expectations
  • Managing annual scopes of work, challenging scope creep and maintaining clear accountability for what sits within agreed delivery
  • Overseeing media and creative spend, maintaining a single source of truth and reconciling costs against approved scope
  • Leading on agency performance, ensuring output meets agreed briefs, timelines and CRUK quality standards
  • Acting as the senior operational contact for agency stakeholders, resolving issues and managing delivery risk across campaigns
  • Building and embedding strong commercial governance, including cost tracking, audits and contract management frameworks
  • Significant experience managing media and creative agencies within complex organisations, either client-side or agency-side
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing multi-million-pound budgets, scopes of work and cost frameworks
  • Deep understanding of media planning, buying and creative production processes, including associated cost drivers
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel capability to track spend and analyse variance
  • Ability to build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, influencing across internal teams and external partners
  • Proven experience setting up and improving processes, combining strategic thinking with operational delivery
