Job Summary

Own and shape Spotlight's multi-channel social strategy, driving growth across racing audiences while leading platform-native content, influencer partnerships, and editorial-aligned execution that supports the 3-year brand plan.

  • Platform-native content and end-to-end social ownership across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Lead and develop the social team, scale influencer partnerships, and align with editorial collaborations
  • Track KPIs and ensure compliant, responsible gambling practices while amplifying award-winning content

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Be a senior voice within the marketing function, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing to help shape the future of Spotlight's B2C Marketing
  • Define and evolve a multi-platform strategy tailored to new racing audiences (X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging channels)
  • Alongside the Senior Campaigns Manager and Head of Marketing, be a key leader in strategising and managing the brand direction, ensuring it ladders up to the business' 3-year plan
  • Develop platform-native content strategies, specific to the audience requirements of each platform
  • Grow under-penetrated demographics (younger fans, female bettors, international audiences)
  • Own social media end to end, with a big drive for more creative and engaging output to meet the new future content strategy
  • Produce and create content which engages our audience and encourages/elicits a direct response relevant to the groups revenue lines from our social media channels
  • Own our third-party influencer programme, strategising ways to access their audiences in engaging ways that drive long-term audience adoption for Spotlight / Racing Post. This includes a sizeable influencer / amplification budget
  • Manage the social media team to ensure activity ladders up to wider business goals and content is generated to a high standard:
