Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Group's marketing and communications strategy in partnership with the Marketing/Commercial Director and aligned to wider organisational and commercial priorities.
• Provide senior marketing and communications expertise to the Marketing/Commercial Director and wider leadership team.
• Shape and strengthen the Group's positioning, messaging and external narrative.
• Build on the Group's growing profile through proactive PR, media engagement, thought leadership and strategic communications.
• Identify opportunities arising from developments in consumer affairs, regulation, public policy and relevant markets.
• Strengthen the Group's reputation and visibility amongst businesses, consumers, government, regulators and other key stakeholders.
• Lead B2B marketing activity supporting membership growth
• Develop targeted campaigns that generate high quality leads and support sustainable commercial growth.
• Own the Group's content strategy across thought leadership, PR, website, social media, case studies and corporate communications.
• Develop and oversee a programme of events, roundtables, webinars, industry engagement and stakeholder forums.

Requirements

• Significant senior level marketing and communications leadership experience.
• A strong track record of developing and delivering organisation wide marketing and communications strategies.
• Strong PR, media relations and corporate communications capability.
• Experience developing brand positioning, corporate narrative and thought leadership.
• Evidence of delivering measurable commercial growth, lead generation or market development.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, automation and marketing analytics.
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and budgets.
• A strategic and analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• The ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
