SJ Productions is looking for a Generative AI Researcher to join our team and help us stay at the cutting edge of AI-powered visual creation.

We’re searching for someone who lives and breathes Generative AI. Someone who is constantly testing new tools, exploring emerging workflows, discovering creative use cases, and keeping up with the latest developments in AI image, video, avatar, voice, and content creation technologies.

This role is focused on research, experimentation, and innovation. You’ll be responsible for finding the and using new tools and workflows before everyone else does.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in generative AI for image, video, audio, and content creation
• Continuously test new AI tools, models, and platforms as they are released
• Evaluate tools based on quality, speed, cost, usability, and commercial potential
• Discover and document practical use cases for creators, brands, and businesses
• Develop and optimize AI workflows for content creation, marketing, and production
• Research emerging trends, techniques, and breakthroughs across the AI ecosystem
• Create reports, recommendations, and workflow documentation for the team
• Monitor leading AI creators, researchers, startups, and communities
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies before they become mainstream
• Support the development of AI-powered content, products, and internal processes

• Deep knowledge of the current generative AI landscape
• Extensive hands-on experience with AI image and video tools
• Constantly experimenting with new platforms, models, and workflows
• Strong understanding of prompting, image gen, video gen, editing, and automation workflows
• Naturally curious with a passion for discovering and testing new technology
• Ability to document findings clearly and communicate recommendations
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
