THE ROLE
We're hiring a full-time editor to join our production team long-term, working with established, high-credibility clients.
This is not a typical freelance editing gig where you're handed raw footage and left to figure out the creative from scratch. Our creative direction, visual planning, and project setup are done before a video reaches you. You'll work from detailed, shot-by-shot edit briefs and pre-built project files, with a lead editor on hand for anything you need. Your job is to take a clear plan and execute it cleanly, consistently, and on schedule, every single time.
If you take genuine pride in dependable, high-quality output and you'd rather have a clear brief than a blank canvas, this role is built for you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Editing assigned YouTube videos from provided briefs and project files, to a high standard
- Executing visuals, graphics, and pacing as specified, rather than designing each video from scratch
- Maintaining consistency with each client's established style using existing project files and templates
- Hitting agreed delivery deadlines as the core measure of the role
- Flagging blockers to your lead editor early, rather than going quiet when stuck
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A track record of reliability and consistency. This matters to us more than a flashy showreel
- Solid foundational editing skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects, comfortable working inside existing project files and executing template-based graphics
- Someone who works well to a detailed brief and within an established system
- Proactive, clear communication, especially when something is unclear or a deadline is at risk
- Full-time availability, working UK hours
- A stable, professional approach. We're building a team for the long term, not filling a one-off project
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
We want to be upfront so the right people apply and the wrong fit doesn't waste their time or ours:
- This is not a creative-lead or art-direction role. You won't be inventing the look of each video
- It's not a place to build a portfolio of original, signature work
- It's not client-facing, and it's not a strategy role
If your priority is creative freedom and developing a distinctive personal style, this honestly isn't the role for you, and that's completely fine. If your priority is steady, well-organised work where you can do a great job reliably and be supported while you do it, keep reading.
WHY THIS IS A GOOD ROLE
- Clear briefs and pre-built project files mean your effort goes into quality and speed, not reinventing the wheel
- A lead editor supports you directly, so you're never stuck guessing
- Stable, full-time, long-term work, no feast-or-famine freelance cycle
- A genuinely systemised production process that's built to let good editors do their best work
COMPENSATION
- £32,000/year, paid monthly in GBP
- Full-time, long-term opportunity. We hire to keep.
- Fully remote, work from anywhere
- UK hours, Monday to Friday
- Salary scales as the company scales
APPLY VIA THIS FORM: https://forms.gle/3psgi6HXgFV2yc9fA
Your application MUST include a short video (2 to 3 minutes) covering:
- A time you had to deliver consistent, high-quality work under a deadline, or within someone else's system or brief, and how you approached it
- Why a structured, execution-focused role like this appeals to you
Please do not send a generic showreel in place of answering these. We read every Loom, and how you communicate in it matters as much as your editing.
Applications without a video will not be considered.
THE PROCESS
- Apply via the form (video link required)
- We review every application within 24-48 hours
- Short interview if it's a fit, to walk through your experience
- Paid trial: edit a real client video so we both see how you work
- Long-term offer if we're both in
If it's not the right fit on either side, no hard feelings. You get paid for the trial and we move on.
We look forward to seeing your application!
