Job Summary

Own and orchestrate cross-channel festival marketing strategy and team delivery for BFI festivals, aligning growth, cultural impact, and revenue with tight festival windows.

  • Campaigns & Brand: Develop and deliver full-funnel, omni-channel marketing and engagement campaigns for BFI London Film Festival and BFI Flare, collaborating across the organisation.
  • Growth & Revenue Targets: Collaborate to deliver inclusive growth, cultural impact and income targets; lead sales reviews and ticket schemes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Festival marketing team, recruit and manage temporary staff, direct other colleagues on planning, delivery and execution.

Job Description

Own and orchestrate cross-channel festival marketing strategy and team delivery for BFI festivals, aligning growth, cultural impact, and revenue with tight festival windows.

  • Campaigns & Brand: Develop and deliver full-funnel, omni-channel marketing and engagement campaigns for BFI London Film Festival and BFI Flare, collaborating across the organisation.
  • Growth & Revenue Targets: Collaborate to deliver inclusive growth, cultural impact and income targets; lead sales reviews and ticket schemes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Festival marketing team, recruit and manage temporary staff, direct other colleagues on planning, delivery and execution.
  • Budget & Agencies: Manage I&E marketing budgets and oversee marketing agencies and suppliers (media buying, social content, trailer/AV production).
  • Content & Amplification: Coordinate in-festival content capture and video content strategy with production, social, press, and influencers; amplify across channels.
  • Branding & Production: Work with production teams, external agencies to deliver cinema branding and event promotion, especially the red carpet Gala branding and materials.
  • Partnerships & Venues: Coordinate with venues, distributors, and partners for branding, promos, and promotions.
