Job Description

Responsibilities - The Global Racisms Institute for Social Transformation (GRIST) at the Department of Sociology is looking for a dedicated and proactive Events and Communications Officer. - They will coordinate online information campaigns, including social media campaigns, podcast production, and webinars, and advertise GRIST's events and workshops via its website and social media platforms. - They will work closely with the PI Professor Mónica Moreno Figueroa in promoting the GRIST activities internally and globally. Requirements - The role is part-time comprising 7.20 hours/week (0.2 FTE). - Fixed-term till 30th September 2026 due to limited funding. - Applications are welcome from internal candidates who would like to apply for the role on the basis of a secondment from their current role in the University.
