Own the core flow of digital storytelling and content delivery across channels, with a focus on proactive, audience-engaging content that reflects life at Christ Church.

Editorial content leadership: drive website, social, video, and internal communications with independent prioritization and strong editorial judgment.
Opportunity spotting: translate ideas into compelling, audience-focused narratives that advance key messages across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day delivery across the full range of digital channels: website, social media, video, internal newsletter and more.
Turn the richness of everyday life at Christ Church into outstanding content.
Spot a communications opportunity before being asked, pursue it with energy and good judgement and deliver content that genuinely engages our audiences.
Not an entry-level role; work with confidence and independence, setting priorities, managing workload and making sound editorial judgments.

Requirements:

strong writing and editing skills
confident in graphic design
competent in the use of our website and digital tools
good understanding of effective videography
journalistic instinct
able to pitch a story, frame a message and adapt their voice accordingly
background in digital communications, journalism, marketing or a related field

Preferred:

experience in digital storytelling across multiple channels
prior experience in journalism/digital communications
training in specific skills and tools relevant to the role will be provided
