Job Summary

Own the digital voice by developing and maintaining Birmingham Mind’s online presence, launching a staff intranet, and guiding staff and volunteers in using digital platforms.

  • Create and update website content and digital materials to support services, campaigns and events
  • Lead content planning across digital channels and provide training on digital tools

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Help us connect more people with trusted mental health information and support.
  • developing and maintaining Birmingham Mind’s digital presence.
  • design, structure and launch a new staff intranet
  • create and update website content
  • produce digital materials that support our services, campaigns and events
  • plan and create content, keep digital channels accurate and accessible
  • support paid and organic campaigns
  • provide guidance and training so staff and volunteers can make confident use of our digital platforms

Requirements

  • experience of creating engaging content for websites, intranets and social media
  • confidence using content management systems, digital platforms and analytics
  • excellent written and verbal communicator
  • adapt content for different audiences while maintaining high standards of accuracy, accessibility and brand consistency
  • manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • build positive working relationships
  • use data and feedback to improve communications
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months
  • We are not a registered sponsor and therefore are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position

Preferred

  • Experience of graphic design or digital content tools
  • paid campaigns
  • accessibility standards
  • communications within mental health and wellbeing services would be an advantage
