Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive destination marketing strategies aligned with tourism and commercial objectives
  • Lead integrated campaigns across digital, social media, content, email, PR, partnerships, events, and traditional marketing channels
  • Develop annual destination marketing plans, campaign calendars, budgets, timelines, and performance objectives
  • Lead destination brand positioning, messaging, storytelling, and promotional initiatives
  • Promote destinations, attractions, cultural experiences, events, tours, accommodation, and tourism products
  • Develop and oversee content strategies across websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, destination guides, video, and other channels
  • Manage paid and organic campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
  • Oversee SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media, digital acquisition, and conversion initiatives
  • Develop strategic relationships with tourism boards, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, attractions, media organisations, influencers, and local tourism partners
  • Identify and develop co-marketing, sponsorship, affiliate, partnership, and promotional opportunities

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of relevant experience in destination marketing, tourism, travel, hospitality, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of destination marketing, tourism strategy, digital marketing, and visitor behaviour
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, brand development, and content strategy skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, analytics, and digital acquisition
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, CRM platforms, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to turn data into actionable marketing strategies
  • Excellent project management, budget management, and organisational abilities
