Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Demand Planning Assistant on a permanent basis, to play a key role in supporting demand planning accuracy and stock optimisation across Harrods’ dynamic and fast‑paced Fragrance category.
About the Role
As a Demand Planning Assistant, you will support the Demand Planner, Assistant Demand Planner and Demand Planning Manager to ensure the integrity, accuracy and delivery of demand and fulfilment plans across all channels. Working closely with Buying, Merchandising and Supply Chain teams, you will help drive availability, improve forecast accuracy and optimise inventory while supporting business growth and sales performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of demand and fulfilment plans across stores, online and regional sites
- Managing and maintaining accurate replenishment and master data within SAP
- Producing and analysing key reports covering forecast accuracy, availability, stock and replenishment performance
- Supporting promotional, launch, discontinuation and aged stock forecasting in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
- Assisting with stock management activities including deliveries, purchase orders, transfers and return‑to‑vendor processes
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You
You will thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment, bringing a highly organised, analytical approach and a strong attention to detail to everything you do. You will be confident working with data, systems and multiple stakeholders, and comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and pace. You will enjoy collaborating across teams, communicating clearly and building strong relationships to support business performance. You will also demonstrate a proactive mindset, taking ownership of tasks and contributing ideas to improve ways of working.
You must have:
- Passion and interest for luxury Fragrance
- Experience in a demand planning, merchandising, buying, or similar analytical role
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and high‑level Excel capability
- Excellent numeracy, analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
