Data & CRM Executive at Front Line Genomics

Salary                             

£25,000 - £26,000 salary, plus a company performance-related bonus. This is an entry level role with excellent prospects for progression.

Interview Process   

The interview process is (1) telephone screen to establish a fit on both sides, (2) second round interview, (3) final questions and meet-the-team session, potentially leading to an offer. The interview process should take no longer than two weeks.

Location                      

This is a remote role, although you must be able to travel to London for one day per month. You must be based in the UK, with a legal right to work in the UK.

Who we help: We help people working in healthcare organisations (such as the NHS), academia/research, pharma/biotech and others to make better use of genomics, omics, biodata, AI and other related technologies. We also support technology companies, investors, government officials and patient organisations.

The Role                       

As Data & CRM Executive you will be responsible for sourcing and managing data, and - in time - develop the data processes and structure that support Front Line Genomics' commercial and marketing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who enjoys working with data, spreadsheets, databases and systems, and wants to pursue a career in a marketing or CRM-related role.

You will play a crucial role in identifying and building databases of organisations and professionals who should engage with our products and services. You will manage the onboarding, organisation and quality control of data within our CRM (currently HubSpot), ensuring that our teams have access to accurate, reliable and actionable information.

Over time, you will become the company's internal expert in HubSpot/CRMs and will help shape the systems, processes and data architecture that support our continued growth. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in the marketing of our products, developing valuable early marketing experience.

Main Responsibilities

Data Acquisition & Database Development

  • Research and identify relevant organisations, companies and professionals across the life sciences industry.
  • Build and maintain high-quality databases of prospective customers, partners, speakers, delegates, sponsors and other stakeholders.
  • Source, validate and enrich contact data from a variety of approved sources.
  • Continuously improve the breadth, quality and relevance of audience and prospect databases.

CRM Management & Data Operations

  • Manage the onboarding and import of new data into the CRM.
  • Ensure data is correctly structured, tagged, segmented and categorised within the CRM.
  • Maintain data quality standards and conduct regular audits to identify and resolve inaccuracies, duplicates and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and document best-practice processes for data management and CRM usage.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of workflows, lists, properties and reporting structures within HubSpot.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure CRM data supports business objectives.

Process Improvement & Data Governance

  • Help design and improve internal data processes and workflows.
  • Ensure data is accessible, organised and integrated across relevant business functions.
  • Support compliance with data protection regulations and internal governance policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process optimisation.

Marketing & Commercial Support

  • Support the marketing team with audience segmentation and campaign preparation.
  • Assist with the execution of marketing plans and outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing colleagues to ensure effective audience engagement strategies.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Understanding of database management principles.
  • Experience with data cleansing, enrichment or market research.
  • Interest in or knowledge of genomics, biotechnology, healthcare or life sciences.
  • Experience working with event, marketing or audience data.

Within your first 12 months, you will:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted owner of data quality across the business.
  • Build and maintain high-quality target databases that support commercial growth.
  • Ensure the CRM is accurate, organised and consistently maintained.
  • Improve the efficiency and reliability of data onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Become an internal subject matter expert for CRM management and data operations.

Other Information

  • Holiday: A total of 33-34 days per year, including25 days of bookable annual leave, plus 8 public holidays, plus your birthday (upon completion of your probationary period).
  • Pension: Contributory group pension scheme upon three months of employment.
  • Remote working: You will work remotely, with just 1 day per month in London (you will need to travel to London at your own expense, once per month, for monthly meetups).
  • Flexible working. Our core hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm, but you can adjust your working hours to suit your personal preference/schedule, where possible (e.g., working 8.00am to 4.30pm).
