Job Description

Responsibilities

Create high-quality, original content for websites, blogs, landing pages, campaigns, social media and other marketing channels
Produce SEO-optimised content informed by keyword research, search intent and SEO good practice
Review and improve existing website content to maintain accuracy, relevance and search performance
Research industry topics and audience trends to develop authoritative and engaging content
Write case studies, articles, press releases and other PR and media-facing content
Work with colleagues and subject matter experts to develop stories and content ideas
Adapt your writing style for different audiences, brands and tones of voice
Upload, edit and maintain content within Content Management System (CMS) platforms
Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support integrated campaigns and identify new content opportunities
Monitor content performance and developments in SEO and the wider industry to continually improve our approach

Requirements

Proven experience in content writing, copywriting or an SEO-focused content role
Strong written English, editing and proofreading skills
A strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research and content optimisation
Experience creating engaging content across different platforms and formats
The ability to research unfamiliar or complex topics and turn them into clear, compelling content
Confidence adapting content for different audiences, industries and brand requirements
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider team
A proactive, resourceful and positive approach to your work

Preferred

Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console or Semrush
Experience creating PR content, case studies or thought leadership articles
Experience working within an agency or other fast-paced marketing environment
A portfolio of published content
