Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy:* Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy that aligns with brand values and business goals.
  • Social Media Management:* Work with the team to plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
  • Campaign Development:* Lead social and content campaigns to promote products, drive traffic, and engage consumers.
  • Content Creation:* Produce high-quality content, including blog posts, newsletters, product descriptions, and social media posts, tailored to our audience.
  • Analytics and Reporting:* Monitor and report on content performance, using insights to optimise future strategies.
  • Community Engagement:* Build and nurture our online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering meaningful connections.
  • Collaboration:* Work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to align content with brand initiatives and launches.
  • Trend Monitoring:* Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments to inform content decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a content or social media management role, preferably within the nursery or homeware sectors.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with content planning tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills. Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, ensuring content aligns with brand identity.
  • Confidence in front of the camera.
  • Understanding of how to create content for both organic and paid social channels.

Preferred

  • Experience working with nursery or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Understanding of influencer marketing and partnerships.
  • Understanding of paid social.
  • Experience of social tip & tiktok shop.
