Job Summary

Own and optimize the content strategy across the portfolio, drive findability, lead thought leadership, translate launches into content, and feed insights back to close positioning gaps.

  • Own the content strategy across the portfolio.
  • Lead thought leadership and launches-related content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the content strategy across the portfolio. What gets made and what doesn’t, based on what sales are hearing, where we’re losing deals, what buyers search for and where we have proof. Not a generic editorial calendar.
  • Make us findable - by search engines and by AI. When a merchant asks an LLM about the problems our products solve, we should be in the answer. You’ll own what we rank for and get cited on, and treat ‘the model stopped mentioning us’ as a problem worth fixing.
  • Run the thought leadership programme. POV pieces, executive bylines (you’ll be ghostwriting for our leadership - say so if that’s a draw or a dealbreaker) and category commentary on AI-driven discovery, trust and agentic commerce, backed by our own merchant data.
  • Turn launches into content. Work with the Product Marketing Manager on each product line so content never lags positioning, and write the blogs, comparison pages and launch narratives yourself.
  • Feed what you learn back. Content is usually the first place a positioning gap shows up. We’ll expect you to say so.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B content marketing. Owning both the plan and the writing, close to the work.
  • Strong, plain writing. No filler, no jargon padding. You can turn a data point into a sentence a buyer actually believes.
  • Commercial instinct. You can name a piece of your work that changed a deal, a conversation or a conversion. A clean story matters more than a clean number - plenty of good marketers have worked somewhere the tracking was broken.
  • Comfortable working directly with sales. Pulling call data, sitting in on deals, turning objections into content.

Preferred

  • Thought leadership you’ve written and placed - bylines, POV pieces, original data narratives
  • SEO experience, and active curiosity about AEO/GEO and how LLMs decide what to cite
  • Marketing to eCommerce or retail buyers
  • Partnering with Product Marketing across more than one product line

Benefits

  • Private Medical Insurance with Vitality from day one - including private GP access, a 24/7 medical helpline and advanced cancer cover
  • Dental, optical and hearing cover
  • Mental health support - unlimited CBT (first 8 sessions without GP referral) and a confidential Employee Assistance Programme
  • 20 days PTO and 6 bank holidays - plus the full week off between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day
  • Statutory workplace pension
  • Your birthday off - a full paid day, just for you, every year
  • Give Back Day - a paid day each year to volunteer for a cause you care about
  • Bonusly peer recognition - real-time shout-outs tied to our values, with points that convert to real rewards
  • Clearer Together - each quarter, one employee who exemplifies our values wins a fully-funded 5-night trip to one of our global offices (Sydney, Berlin, Leicester, Irvine or Ho Chi Minh City)
