Job Summary

Own the end-to-end consumer content and email marketing engine, driving engagement, SEO, and conversion across email, blog, and product pages.

  • Email Marketing: Plan, write, and design campaigns; run weekly performance reviews and regular A/B tests.
  • Content & SEO: Plan and publish blog posts; coordinate guest writers and refresh high-performing articles for traffic.
  • Website Content: Write product descriptions and oversee categorization to optimize category pages.

Job Description

Own the end-to-end consumer content and email marketing engine, driving engagement, SEO, and conversion across email, blog, and product pages.

  • Email Marketing: Plan, write, and design consumer emails.
  • Email Marketing: Provide weekly reports to improve email performance.
  • Email Marketing: Implement and monitor regular A/B testing for optimal results.
  • Email Marketing: Review and maintain transactional emails and newsletter sign-up journeys.
  • Blog/Content: Plan blog topics to promote campaigns and support long-term brand building and SEO.
  • Blog/Content: Write and publish blog posts, long and short form, including imagery as needed.
  • External Content: Work with guest bloggers for specialized content (food, craft, interiors).
  • Blog/Content: Regularly review and update older, high-performing posts to drive traffic.
  • Website/Content: Write product descriptions for the consumer site and oversee categorisation.
  • Website/Content: Proofread product descriptions for the trade site and monitor category page performance.
  • Requirements: Excellent English copywriting skills; confident writer with conversion-focused approach across platforms.
  • Requirements: Keen eye for visuals to create scroll-stopping emails.
  • Requirements: Strong knowledge of SEO and applying best practices.
  • Requirements: Data-driven mindset; analyse results to optimise content performance.
  • Requirements: Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Requirements: Comfortable using GA4 to analyse email and website data.
  • Nice-to-Have: Experience with Shopify.
  • Nice-to-Have: Experience using Canva.
  • Nice-to-Have: Experience in ecommerce or retail.
  • Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of optimising for AEO and using AI tools to improve marketing activity.
