Job Summary

Own end-to-end AI content editing workflow for a restaurant and retail audience, from rewriting and SEO optimization to publication in Webflow, with growing involvement in content strategy and internal linking plans.

Rewrite and optimize AI articles for human voice
Publish and format in Webflow and maintain internal linking
Identify content gaps and contribute to AI search strategy

Job Description

Responsibilities

Review and rewrite 50 AI-generated articles every month. Fix generic phrasing, add a real point of view, cut filler, and make each piece sound like it was written by someone who deeply understands restaurant and retail operators
Apply on-page SEO best practices: keyword usage, headers, internal links
Work through a content cleanup list we provide: fixing flagged pages, updating outdated info, and adding internal links
Publish and format content directly in Webflow
Flag issues you notice on your own as you work through content, even if they weren't on the original list
Occasionally write new content as needed
As you get more comfortable with our content and audience, there’s room to take on more of the strategic side: identifying content gaps yourself, building out internal linking plans, and eventually helping shape our AI search (AEO) approach

Requirements

A genuine ear for natural, human-sounding writing. This is the one skill we won't compromise on
Solid grasp of English grammar and tone, able to write like a real person, not a template
Good understanding of SEO and AEO
Strong attention to detail and comfort working carefully through a checklist
A proactive mindset. You speak up when you notice something worth fixing, even if it wasn't assigned
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and following a documented process

Preferred

Experience with Webflow or another website builder or CMS
Basic graphic or layout skills
Familiarity with the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries
