Responsibilities

• Video Production & Content Creation
• Plan, film and produce engaging long-form YouTube videos showcasing our installations, projects, team and business.
• Turn long-form videos into short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Visit installation sites to capture behind-the-scenes footage, project walkthroughs and completed installations.
• Film customer testimonials, interviews and case studies.
• Attend exhibitions, trade shows and industry events to capture content.
• Develop creative video ideas, including educational content, product comparisons, industry insights and day-in-the-life videos.
• Capture high-quality photography for our website, social media and marketing campaigns.
• Social Media Growth & Management
• Take ownership of growing Newpower's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Requirements

• Experience creating video content for social media or YouTube.
• Confident using cameras, microphones and filming equipment.
• A creative eye for capturing interesting and engaging footage.
• Understanding of what makes content perform well across different social platforms.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own content schedule.
• A proactive attitude — someone who brings ideas rather than waiting to be told what to film.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites and events.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Preferred

• Video editing experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
• Experience growing business social media accounts.
• Experience creating long-form YouTube content.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn content creation and personal branding.
• Photography and graphic design skills.
• Experience within construction, electrical, plumbing, renewable energy or other trade-related industries.
• An understanding of marketing, storytelling, audience growth and lead generation.
