Responsibilities

• Content Production: Concept, script, film, and edit engaging short-form video and visual assets optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
• Trend Forecasting: Monitor daily social media trends, viral audio, memes, and platform updates to pitch timely, culturally relevant content ideas.
• On-Camera Talent: Host, present, or act in content as needed, while also directing external creators or agency talent.
• Brand Voice Alignment: Adapt tone of voice, visual style, and storytelling techniques to match different client brand guidelines.
• Collaborative Strategy: Work alongside social strategists, copywriters, and account managers to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and KPIs.
• Community Engagement: Assist with reactive content creation based on community comments, trending topics, and real-time cultural moments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience creating social media content (agency, brand, or personal creator portfolio).
• Proficiency in mobile shooting, lighting, audio recording, and editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Photoshop, Adobe).
• Deep understanding of social algorithms, hook structures, visual pacing, and native platform features.
• Excellent verbal and written storytelling skills with a strong eye for visual detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment, managing tight deadlines and multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Experience with graphic design and/or basic motion graphics.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and understanding video performance metrics (retention rate, watch time, engagement).
• A strong personal or client portfolio showcasing successful short-form video content (content that’s done good numbers).
