Job Description

Responsibilities

  • secure positive media coverage across the Eastern region and bring compelling stories to life — from apprenticeships and community initiatives to major operational updates and award entries.
  • write high-quality external communications, respond to media enquiries, monitor breaking news and work closely with colleagues across the business to identify strong content ideas.

Requirements

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound news judgement, a collaborative approach and the confidence to build relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.
  • an experienced communications professional with strong writing skills, a keen eye for a story and the ability to work at pace.
