Job Overview

As our Commercial Executive, you’ll be supporting our 30+ provider partners, play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our commercial operations, keeping our products up to date and with best in class quality, supporting our partner relationships, managing our affiliate programme, and keeping our reporting accurate and timely. This is a role where attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a passion for commercial growth will make a real difference. We’re seeking someone who wants their start in account management or wants more accountability working in a smaller, more agile commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

Growth provider account management:

When surveying our providers we are regularly cited as leading in terms of our account management ability and the insights we provide. This is represented by us winning Gold and Silver in recent Performance Marketing Awards for "Best Publisher". You will play a significant role in ensuring we can apply this level of performance to new providers we onboard and our "growth providers", mainly altnets. An outline of some of the tasks involved below:

  • Working alongside our Commercial Manager to onboard new providers at suitable commercials and manage the initial 3 month onboarding period. Contributing to recommendations at the end of it based on performance

  • Day to day management of growth broadband providers

  • Provide key recommendations to growth broadband providers to best hit commercial targets

  • Negotiate stronger commercials, either through increasing CPAs, securing upfront payments (tenancies), or bonus schemes

  • Organising and leading weekly reports and quarterly business reviews with growth providers

  • Organising ongoing to do lists with growth providers and delivering on tasks

  • Gaining feedback from growth providers on their objectives and sharing these with the business

  • Where relevant putting forward tasks internally to help achieve those objectives once we’re happy with the commercial arrangements with the provider collaborating with our marketing and product teams where relevant

Website management:

As broadband experts it is imperative that our products and deals listed in our comparison tables are up to date and include all the information for a customer to take the stress out of switching. You will play an integral role in ensuring we offer best in class information to our customers. As part of this you will:

  • Check and update our online content on Broadband Genie via our CMS (Content Management System)

  • Monitor and update on-site product listings across our full range of comparison pages

  • Carry out daily checks and flag any key issues which may be impacting our performance

  • Resolve any key issues from daily checks or raise them internally

  • Ensure providers are paying us the correct commission for the switches we drive

  • Liaise with providers about offer changes

  • Propose improvements to the information we list in our product offers

  • Propose additional products that we could list based on competitors, provider information, or your own research

  • Play a key role in us improving this process using AI to make offer changes more efficient

Basic management of our affiliate programme:

We also share our deals with other 3rd parties and work on a revenue share agreement with them. We will require some basic management of this to ensure efficiency, working alongside our Commercial Partnerships Manager. Tasks include:

  • Uploading sales

  • Performing the sales validation process

  • Managing publisher invitations

  • Producing daily updates for sessions, email captures, clicks and sales for all direct partners (white label/gated/API)

  • Ensuring reports are accurate and meet partner needs

Reporting:

To rival other comparison sites in the space we need to be on top of our numbers each day and week. Having a keen eye for detail and being organised, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this by:

  • Working alongside Commercial Manager, looking through QuickSite daily reports and flagging key KPI changes to the team across providers

  • Reporting on deal strength by provider and flagging market-leading deals we have vs competitors

Skills & Experience

We’re seeking someone who wants their start in account management or wants more accountability working in a smaller, more agile commercial team.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in a commercial, administrative, or account management role

  • Experience organising and implementing processes

  • Reporting results to senior managers or key stakeholders
