Own and govern the Mayor of London and GLA brand across architecture, governance, and audience touchpoints, aligning with political priorities and public-sector requirements while coordinating with partners and senior teams to protect reputation and drive consistent brand experience.

  • Brand governance: establish architecture, guidelines, and toolkits adopted across City Hall and partner organisations.
  • Senior stakeholder advisory: guide Marketing, Mayoral leadership, and policy teams on visibility and risk.
  • Brand asset management: oversee intellectual property, trademark protection, and asset delivery with governance colleagues.

Job Description

Own and govern the Mayor of London and GLA brand across architecture, governance, and audience touchpoints, aligning with political priorities and public-sector requirements while coordinating with partners and senior teams to protect reputation and drive consistent brand experience.

  • Brand governance: establish architecture, guidelines, and toolkits adopted across City Hall and partner organisations.
  • Senior stakeholder advisory: guide Marketing, Mayoral Head of Marketing & Brand, Mayoral Head of Digital, and policy teams on visibility and risk.
  • Brand asset management: oversee intellectual property, trademark protection, and asset delivery with governance colleagues.
  • Brand delivery: commission and manage creative, design and media agencies for identity development and execution.
  • Brand monitoring: enforce application across external and internal communications for accuracy and consistency.
  • Partnerships: identify and support opportunities that advance the Mayor’s strategic priorities.
  • Cross‑organisational collaboration: build relationships across External Relations, the Mayor’s Office, policy units, functional bodies and delivery partners for coherence in high‑profile work.
  • Guidance on audience engagement: advise on visibility, reputational risk and audience perception using data to inform decisions.
  • Guideline adoption: manage development and rollout of brand guidelines across City Hall and partners.
