Job Description
About The Role
As the Administrator - Safeguarding Adults and working closely with the Service Manager and Safeguarding Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Safeguarding Team
- Handling incoming enquiries and correspondence, ensuring timely responses
- Maintaining accurate records and databases including updating client records and liaising with duty teams within the wider Adult Social Care function
- Coordinating meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
- Assisting with the compilation of reports and documentation
- Managing and prioritising administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- You will be an integral part of the wider Safeguarding Adults Team, working alongside professionals dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- While experience within a safeguarding or social care environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities are key attributes we are seeking.

The maximum salary for this role is £27,254 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours.
