Responsibilities
- Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for marketing.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for marketing.
- Management of client relationships and provision of customer service support to clients and customers, under steadily decreasing supervision, responding to questions about products and services, processing of transactions, and resolution of customer complaints.
Requirements
- To be considered for this opportunity, you must be in your penultimate year of university. You must be graduating in 2028.

- Barclays cannot offer visa sponsorship for this internship as the role does not currently meet the UK Home Office eligibility requirements for Skilled Worker sponsorship.
- To be eligible for this internship programme, you must therefore have the legal right to work on a full-time basis in the UK for the entire duration of the internship programme, from June 2027 to August 2027, without requiring sponsorship from Barclays. Please also note that, during your summer internship, you will be considered for a place on our 2028 graduate programme. As the graduate programme also does not meet the UK Home Office eligibility requirements for Skilled Worker sponsorship, to be eligible for the internship, you will also need to demonstrate that you will have the legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the graduate programme, from August 2028 to August 2030.
