About Starting 5ive Productions

Colten & Kyler Gayle unofficially founded Starting 5ive in August of 2022 when they first got their hands on a real camera. The idea of starting a production company began at the end of that Cisco Loboes football season, when they created a career highlight video of their little brother, Cade. Following the local success of that highlight video, Colten & Kyler were invited by a hometown friend, JimAnne Hejny, to film her son Hauss’ (now CO State quarterback) senior season at Aledo High School the following year. The duo made waves locally, and were soon approached by oil & gas magnate Jesse Hejny, who offered to turn the brothers’ passion project into a full-fledged business. The brothers obliged, and Starting 5ive Productions was formed in the summer of 2024 at the H5 Sports Barn. Since the company’s official inception, Colten & Kyler have grown the business from a football highlight shop to a full-service video production company. The 5ive now offers custom white-glove video production services for the Big Four sports, corporate organic social, event recaps, weddings, podcasts and more.
