About Seaside Sustainability

Seaside Sustainability is a nationally recognized, award-winning 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to community engagement, education and environmental conservation. Seaside Sustainability’s mission is to protect and restore our oceans by educating people of all ages about the critical issues that threaten our environment; promoting best practices for sustainability; and inspiring meaningful advocacy and hands-on action. Seaside Sustainability works with schools, cities and towns, environmental groups, technology companies, and individuals. Together, we strive to ensure the healthy future of oceans, rivers, wetlands, and estuaries around the world.Seaside Sustainability aims to be a leader in environmental and STEM education programs and recognition initiatives by promoting public awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability, providing resources to develop problem-solving skills, and chances to get engaged as part of a community to take action. Our work provides project-based learning, meaningful internships for students, and volunteer opportunities for people of all ages. Our unique internship program engages hundreds of high school and college students around the world in meaningful hands-on study, giving them training to become the future leaders in the stewardship of our planet.
