Founded in 1975 by Ralph L. Wadsworth, the company is now led by President Brandon Squire and Executive Vice President Tod Wadsworth, Ralph’s son. RLW has steadily grown into a leader in the industry, delivering projects through design-build, progressive design-build, CM/GC, and traditional design-bid-build methods across the western U.S.In 2009, RLW was acquired by Sterling Construction Company, headquartered in Houston, Texas. Sterling ranked #59 on ENR’s 2024 Top 400 Contractors, #66 for New Contracts, and #41 among the Top 50 Domestic Contractors.
