Elwyn is proud to be a premier provider of support, treatment, and education for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), autism, and behavioral health challenges in the United States. Founded in 1852, it holds the distinction of being the nation's oldest organization in this field. Our mission is straightforward yet vital: to make life better for people with developmental and behavioral health challenges.We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, often extending throughout a person's lifetime. Our services are categorized into three main areas: Adult Behavioral Health Services, including residential and community-based programs; Children’s Services, encompassing Early Intervention, Education, and Children’s Behavioral Health; and I/DD Services, providing extensive support through group homes and various non-residential programs.
