BGCSF’s skilled and caring staff expands a child’s world through inspiration, skill building, positive adult and peer relationships, and unique experiences both at the Club and outside the Club, while making every child feel heard, understood, valued, and loved.At BGCSF, we pride ourselves on being a core institution in the San Francisco community, with more than a century of youth development experience and a proven track record of helping young people become successful adults.All staff have access to cutting-edge Learning and Development training opportunities to strengthen professional skills and create growth opportunities within the organization. We focus on youth development, leadership, and management training. Many members of our management team got their start in direct service positions or as Club kids themselves. BGCSF places an emphasis on growing our team through those who know our organization best.Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
