Job Summary

8 years of B2B marketing leadership with global scope shapes a role that owns strategy, brand momentum and cross-functional alignment for growth. Build the multi-channel plan that ties commercial positioning to client journeys, and drive inbound demand while guiding high-level campaigns across consulting, bids and HR. Own leadership of the Marketing & Communications function, balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a fast paced, international context.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commercial strategy and positioning: Analyze and elevate our product offerings, market placement and commercial positioning. Translate complex business models into a targeted, revenue-focused marketing strategy.
  • Client experience and journey: Champion the customer experience, mapping the client journey to ensure targeting is precise, highly relevant, and engaging for our client base.
  • Inbound marketing and discoverability: Guide the team to ensure our website and digital assets drive inbound business and implement SEO and discoverability strategies so the business is easily found by prospective clients.
  • Thought leadership and brand momentum: Lead thought-leadership initiatives and orchestrate multi-channel B2B campaigns across Consulting, Bid and HR while managing brand reputation through high-quality campaigns.
  • Business development alignment: Advocate for strategic marketing input in business development, collaborating with the Managing Director and senior leadership to complete Marketing plans for 2026/2027.
  • Team leadership and execution: Mentor the Marketing & Communications team, lead weekly meetings and senior strategy sessions, and blend high-level orchestration with hands-on execution to bring ideas to life in a fast-paced global environment.

Requirements

  • Marketing & Communications leadership: At least 8 years of proven B2B marketing experience with 5+ years in leadership or fractional CMO roles, and a track record scaling international teams.
  • Commercial strategy and positioning: Experience translating complex business models into strategy.
  • Industry knowledge: Understanding of the climate finance and sustainable development landscape.
  • Cross-channel success: Proven ability to lead cross-channel strategies in a multi-national context, plus experience briefing and managing creative professionals and agencies.
  • Hands-on capability: Strong hands-on skills in product marketing, growth marketing, brand positioning, messaging, SEO and lead generation.
  • Exceptional communication: Excellent writing, literacy, and storytelling; confident in presenting and collaborating on high-level thought leadership.
  • Data-driven: Strong project management with KPI setting and data reporting to measure commercial ROI.
  • Language: Fluent English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, or Arabic) are a plus.
