Responsibilities

Coordinating customer access, permissions and consents for residential and business properties.
Planning and carrying out letter drops and customer communication activity.
Capturing customer contact details and maintaining clear, compliant and accurate records.
Liaising between customers, residents, operational teams, project managers, Tier 1 contractors and client representatives.
Supporting communication with parish councils, resident associations and other local stakeholders.
Using maps, site information and project plans to organise communication activity.
Supporting site teams by helping customers understand the works, access requirements and programme.
Helping manage customer concerns, queries and complaints in a calm and professional way.
Producing or supporting the creation of letters, leaflets, FAQs, notices and other customer-facing material.
Supporting project updates, case studies and examples of completed work.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Confidence working in a field-based role.
Willingness to wear full PPE when required on site.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good IT skills.
Ability to use or learn digital tools, mapping systems, Microsoft Office, Canva or similar design tools, and AI tools.
A professional approach when representing CIL, Southern Water and Tier 1 contractors.

Preferred

Utilities, water, wastewater, construction, infrastructure or social housing experience.
Resident liaison, customer liaison or stakeholder engagement experience.
Experience creating leaflets, FAQs, customer notices or marketing content.
Social media experience, particularly LinkedIn.
Experience working on field-based projects or customer communication campaigns.
