Partner closely with art directors and content creators to develop ideas from initial concept through execution.
Help define and evolve brand voice across social channels, adapting tone appropriately by platform and audience.
Create content tailored to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
Translate briefs, strategies, trends, and cultural moments into compelling social ideas and executions.
Stay on top of internet culture, social trends, platform updates, memes, formats, and emerging behaviors.
Identify opportunities for timely and reactive content that feels relevant to both the brand and the conversation.
Generate multiple creative routes and ideas quickly while maintaining a high bar for craft.
Collaborate with strategists, community managers, account teams, and other creatives to bring campaigns and always-on content to life.

Requirements

4+ years of copywriting experience within an agency, brand, publisher, or social-first creative environment.
A portfolio demonstrating strong social-first thinking, conceptual ideas, copywriting, and storytelling.
Proven experience writing across social platforms, including scripts, hooks, captions, campaign concepts, and reactive content.
Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to turn briefs, trends, and cultural insights into creative ideas.
An excellent understanding of tone of voice and the ability to adapt your writing style across different brands and audiences.
Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and the evolving social landscape.
A strong understanding of what makes content feel native to social rather than adapted from traditional advertising.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work quickly, respond to changing priorities, and capitalize on emerging cultural moments without sacrificing quality.
Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
