Own the sports coverage lifecycle from content creation to social distribution, coordinating in-game broadcasts, website updates, and multimedia production across Ferris State University.

Owns multimedia content production and social outreach.

Manage Social media – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
Production of releases and game notes for assigned sports
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with university policies and applicable laws.
Cultivates an environment of belonging that values, respects, supports, and celebrates individual similarities and differences, allowing students, faculty, and staff to thrive authentically.
Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives.

Requirements

Two years of completed college coursework.
Previous experience in multimedia and creative content, social media, communications and video operations.

Preferred

Past experience in broadcasting, hosting and managing press conferences, and developing social media outreach. Previous experience in broadcasting NCAA Division I Hockey or other sports as a play-by-play or color commentator will also be considered.
