Job Summary

Own the hands-on outreach and listings workflow for the dairy cattle industry, turning education, data gathering, and strong customer service into site listings growth and industry partnerships.

Education and listings: educate sellers and assist them in entering listings on the site.
Customer engagement: handle inbound/outbound calls and emails to drive listings and inquiries.
Industry feedback: gather show/meeting intel and feedback to improve listings and site content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

The intern will be contacting sellers within the dairy cattle and livestock industries and educating them on our products and services.
This process will entail explaining our websites and on how to enter their own information along with also entering their listings for them.
The position is also responsible for handling in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications.
The Intern will gather information on shows and meetings in the industry.
Researching the dairy cattle and livestock industries and the proper way to list the information on our site will be done in addition to providing feedback from the industry.
In the process of handling these responsibilities, it will be the Intern’s objective to build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
A heavy focus on customer service and sales and a variety of tasks that assist in the implementation are additional responsibilities of the Intern.
The Intern must work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications.
Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This position requires prior experience or knowledge in the dairy cattle industry.
Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
Results oriented
Flexible and open to change
Stable and progressive work history
Professional appearance and demeanor
