Job Summary

Own the end to end classroom program: plan and deliver instruction aligned to curriculum, monitor and report on student progress, and uphold policies while safeguarding students and school property.

  • Curriculum ownership: design and deliver instruction and assess progress.
  • Reporting and analytics: monitor progress and maintain records for reporting.
  • Compliance and safety: enforce policies and secure facilities.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes and delivers the program of instruction based on approved curriculum; monitors, evaluates, and communicates student progress; maintains records and makes reports; enforces Board policies, regulations, and rules; supervises students, and secures and maintains school property and materials.
Requirements
  • Kentucky certification appropriate to the grade level and curricular assignment
  • Experience and preparation required by the Board
  • Effective communication skills
