Job Summary
Own end-to-end pursuit enablement by shaping winning proposals, coordinating market insights, and maintaining CRM-driven campaigns that align with brand and stakeholder needs.
- Proposal leadership: Lead complex proposals and award submissions with cross-functional collaboration.
- Market insights: Convert research into strategy, campaign targets, and performance reports.
- Collaboration and enablement: Align internal comms, CRM data, and marketing deliverables to support pursuits.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support pursuit efforts through proposal development and marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and deliver insights that inform strategy
- Coordinate advertising schedules, placements, and vendor relationships
- Develop targeted lists and data for direct marketing campaigns and CRM tracking
- Create and analyze sales and marketing performance reports
- Design compelling proposals, presentations, and brand-aligned collateral
- Lead award submissions that highlight project success and innovation
- Facilitate proposal kickoffs, debriefs, and after-action reviews
- Manage marketing deliverables, including schedules, proofs, and vendor coordination
- Build engaging presentations, proposals, and reports using diverse media and data sources
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience within the AEC or environmental consulting industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex proposal efforts and effectively manage multiple, concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred
- Experience with website management and content updates
- Familiarity with IDOT EPAS and prequalification processes
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and marketing automation tools
- Knowledge of the Illinois market and regional industry landscape
- Experience working with IDOT, as well as local counties and municipal agencies
