Own and drive a comprehensive fundraising program for Hillels of Georgia, leading donor engagement, major campaigns, events, and communications while coordinating with campus professionals and the Board to sustain brand and impact.

Plan and execute events including an annual gala and partner engagement

Job Description

Responsibilities

Partner with the Chief Development Officer to create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
Develop compelling donor-centric appeals and targeted campaigns for email, direct mail, and social media.
Manage phone-a-thons and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. Serve as lead professional on annual Hillel Global Giving Week campaign.
Oversee donor stewardship initiatives, including impact reports.
Work with the Development Department to plan and execute the annual fundraising gala.
Provide support for fundraising and parent/alumni events, such as parlor meetings and donor appreciation gatherings.
Assist in tracking grant deliverables.
Create and share donor impact stories through various communication channels.
Design and execute a robust marketing and communications strategy for Hillels of Georgia and affiliated campus Hillels.
Provide marketing and development direction and resources (scripts, posts, talking points, etc.) to campus professionals and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
Knowledge of Jewish culture and tradition with a commitment to Hillel’s mission and values. Experience in Jewish communal service preferred.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, donor stewardship, and CRM systems.
Proficiency in Canva; experience with Constant Contact and Wix preferred.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
