Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead Ro's highest-priority integrated campaigns
- Own the integrated marketing strategy and execution for major consumer campaigns, including celebrity partnerships, brand moments, and other high-priority launches.
- Translate campaign objectives, audience insights, product claims, and an aligned creative concept into a clear integrated marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Identify opportunities to maximize a creative concept across channels, ensuring we're not simply adapting the same idea everywhere but taking advantage of what each channel can uniquely contribute.
- Build the campaign architecture: define the role of each channel, key moments, sequencing, dependencies, and how the pieces work together to create greater impact.
- Maintain a holistic view of the consumer experience and ensure campaigns feel cohesive wherever consumers encounter Ro.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams
- Serve as the single accountable marketing lead for assigned integrated campaigns, bringing together teams across Brand, Product Marketing, Growth,Communications, and other functions.
- Partner with Product Marketing to understand the consumer insight, value proposition, and product claims we can credibly bring to market.
- Partner closely with Brand as they develop the creative concept, helping pressure-test how ideas can extend across channels and identifying opportunities to maximize the concept once aligned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, consumer marketing, or related roles, within a high-growth consumer, DTC, or digitally native business.
- A track record of personally leading large, cross-channel consumer campaigns from strategy through launch, with clear examples of the role you played and the impact the work had.
- Experience orchestrating campaigns across a mix of paid, owned, and earned channels, with enough fluency across disciplines to connect the work while respecting the expertise of functional channel owners.
- Strong consumer and creative judgment. You know what makes an idea compelling and can identify opportunities to make a strong creative concept work harder across channels without needing to be the person who develops the creative concept.
- Experience partnering closely with Brand/Creative, Product Marketing, Growth/Performance Marketing, Social, Communications/PR, and Lifecycle/CRM teams.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership. You can create alignment, make decisions, resolve ambiguity, and hold teams accountable without relying on reporting lines.
- Strong operational instincts and attention to detail. You know that exceptional campaigns require both a strong idea and excellent execution.
- Experience operating in a lean, fast-moving organization where senior leaders are expected to both set direction and execute.
- Low ego and high ownership. No part of getting an important campaign successfully into market is beneath you.
- In your first year, you'll have established yourself as the person Ro turns to when we need to bring a major marketing moment to market exceptionally well.
