Hospital & Network Partnerships: Lead and execute marketing strategy for external hospital affiliations and joint-venture network partnerships to expand regional influence and care access. Lead relationships with critical external partners, develop integrated plans and multiyear roadmaps to deliver partnership objectives.
Reputation & System Influence: Lead strategic visibility and reputational initiatives, including specialized marketing campaigns for U.S. News & World Report hospital rankings, regional brand awareness, and thought-leadership platforms.
Omnichannel Growth Campaigns: Lead cross-functional teams to build integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns spanning digital advertising, paid social, email/CRM, webinars, direct mail, sponsorships, and high-impact events to drive consumer engagement and appointment conversion.
Content & Narrative Development: Oversee the development of compelling marketing content and clinical storytelling that reinforces UCM’s reputation for medical discovery, complex care, and health equity.
Dashboards & OKRs: Partner with performance marketing and marketing ops to establish robust KPI/OKR tracking, developing institutional and service-line dashboards that benchmark performance against prior years and fiscal targets.
Budget Optimization: Manage entity, community, and system marketing budgets to maximize ROI across paid media, production, and agency spend.
Agency & Vendor Management: Lead agency partners and third-party vendors, enforcing performance standards, continuous optimization, and brand fidelity across all deliverables.
Marketing Automation & Enablement: Harness enterprise CRM and sales enablement platforms (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to map patient journeys, nurture leads, deliver personalized communications, and boost retention.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business required. Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of progressive, results-driven marketing leadership within a complex hospital system, academic medical center, or healthcare enterprise.
Demonstrated experience building, coaching, and managing cross-functional teams and external agency partners in matrixed environments .
Proven ability to partner with and influence partners, hospital administrators, physician leaders, and C-suite executives, successfully translating clinical strategies into marketing roadmaps.
Expertise across both B2B provider referral marketing and direct-to-consumer digital acquisition.
Strong relationship builder and communicator with exceptional communication and leadership skills and a track record of influencing senior leaders and managing external partners.
Strong proficiency in interpreting data, building business cases with data, utilizing CRM/marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and managing performance via OKRs.
Bold, creative, courageous, and innovative mindset who is able to inspire and motivate others; well-versed in operating in a very competitive marketplace.
Experience building effective marketing organizations and managing teams across a highly complex healthcare or hospital organization with numerous service lines.
Experience partnering tightly with physician leaders and service line executives to translate business strategy into integrated marketing plans.
