Own PR campaign development and execution, monitor coverage for insights, draft materials, and cultivate journalist relationships while coordinating media events in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives
Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and reports to the Sr. PR Manager
Draft press materials, including press releases, media alerts, media pitches and talking points
Maintain media lists and build relationships with key journalists and influencers.
Manage inbound media and influencers inquires
Stay updated on industry trends and news cycles to identify opportunities for proactive media outreach
Coordinate logistics for media events and interviews
Support internal communication efforts as needed, and support cross-team communications/collaborative efforts
Think creatively and identify new opportunities for the team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field, PR agency experience preferred
Proficient in media monitoring tools, and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Experience with PR measurement and evaluation tools
Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences
Proven analytical skills, with experience drawing insights from data
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong project management skills; detail-oriented with time management skills
Ability to travel once per quarter
