Job Summary

Own and execute social media content for the Capital City Go-Go, working with the Digital Media Team to develop social-first ideas, monitor trends, pull analytics, schedule across platforms, and capture real-time game content while maintaining the content calendar and assets.

Own social content execution across platforms and game/event coverage.
Support planning, scheduling, and calendar maintenance with the Digital Media Team.
Monitor trends and pull analytics for tentpole events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist in the ideation, planning, and creation of engaging social media content for the Capital City Go-Go accounts.
Collaborate with the Digital Media Team to implement “social-first” content ideas and strategy.
Monitor social media trends to identify new content opportunities.
Pull social media analytics reports for tentpole events.
Coordinate with Digital team members for daily social media responsibilities, including drafting, scheduling, and publishing posts across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
Capture real-time photo/video content at games and community events.
Help maintain the organization of the content calendar and digital assets for distribution among all Digital team members.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate.
Experience in social media publishing for a team, brand, or company.
Availability to work 25 hours per week from September 2026 to May 2027.
Previous experience with photography is preferred.
In-depth experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop & Lightroom is a plus.
Experience in shooting/editing video content for social media.
Deep understanding and awareness of TikTok & Reels style of editing and curation.
Strong organizational skills; ability to balance and prioritize several projects at once.
Knowledgeable about NBA Players and teams.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

Previous experience with photography is preferred.
In-depth experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop & Lightroom is a plus.
