Job Summary

Own content strategy and production across platforms, shaping stories, projects, and crisis communications readiness while coordinating with internal beats and managing end-to-end campaigns.

  • Owns content creation and multimedia storytelling across platforms.
  • Manages projects from planning through publication with moderate supervision.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation-   Seeks out and develops stories and content for publishing on various communications platforms. Creates and executes comprehensive communication plans; Develops, produces, edits, distributes and tracks content; Incorporates multi-media approach to story telling. Identifies opportunities for improvements and raises them to the appropriate individuals. Works to elevate and innovate communications platforms. Works with internal 'beats' to support goals of the organization and department. Manages projects from start to completion with moderate supervision.
  • Production-   Develops content, produces and edits major publications/ projects. Writes and approves content for publishing on the intranet. Looks for ways to incorporate multi-media approaches to story telling. Independently manages small project to medium sized projects and events.
  • Planning-   Helps develops and maintain updated crisis communication plans; Participates in crisis drills and activities. Emergency communication response; prepares content for senior M&C leadership approval concerning emergency response. Trains to be as a spokesperson on behalf of the medical center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of Marketing Communications work experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to create, lead and fully execute work plans
  • Curious approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly-changing environment
  • High ambiguity tolerance
