Job Summary

Own the day-to-day communications for assigned sports, lead multi-channel content campaigns, measure impact, and manage game-day communications while overseeing student staff and ensuring NCAA and university compliance.

Lead the day-to-day communications, media and broadcast stakeholder relations duties for assigned sports.
Develop and produce multi-channel content campaigns for assigned sports.
Measure and report the impact of internal and external communication tactics.
Provide communication game management for home events of assigned sports.
Assist in office development and oversight of student workforce.
Ensure compliance with all departmental, University, Pac-12 and NCAA procedures, rules and regulations.
Assist with website development and management.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics or supervisor.
Supervision: This position may assist with supervision of student hourly employees, external freelancers, and volunteers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of two years of work experience in athletics media relations.
Proficiency in publishing software, including InDesign and Photoshop; and Microsoft applications.
Proficiency in NCAA Live Stats system.
Proficiency in Website content management and organization.
Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations and NCAA statistical rules and regulations.

Preferred

Master's degree.
Previous experience in content creation and distribution strategy and management.
Previous experience working in collegiate athletics at the NCAA Division I level.
Previous experience working in a sports creative and marketing agency model.
Game management related working experience.
