Job Summary
Own email and SMS cultivation for a Christian ministry, driving donor and volunteer engagement through HubSpot and Salesforce with a data driven approach to segmentation, deliverability, and lifecycle messaging.
- Own email and SMS orchestration across campaigns, audiences, and KPIs to lift engagement and fundraising
- Lead tooling and data quality with HubSpot, Salesforce templates, and reporting to inform staff actions
- Stay ahead on industry trends and tool updates to improve segmentation and content personalization
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Email Marketing: Assist with execution of email marketing campaigns including overall strategy, best practices, audience segmentation, and testing; Assist with cultivation of constituents for fundraising and volunteer engagement opportunities; Build and send emails in HubSpot including newsletters, fundraising appeals, event promotions, volunteer recruitment, and others
- Email KPIs optimization: Optimize email KPIs including inbox deliverability, data feeds, and mobile metrics; cultivate growth by fine-tuning segment lists based on behaviors
- Salesforce guidance: Guide staff in utilizing Salesforce to send emails to constituents, including creating templates as needed
- SMS Marketing: Develop and manage process to collect SMS (short message service) opt-ins from constituents; Develop SMS strategies for donor and volunteer engagement including the segmentation strategy, sequencing, and dynamic content; Manage SMS message creation and delivery through HubSpot
- Data Analysis: Analyze email metrics to evaluate success to guide staff in the development of action plans for future campaigns that drive improved results; Analyze SMS metrics to evaluate effectiveness and drive strategy
- Industry Knowledge and Advancements: Stay current on industry trends related to marketing strategies and innovation; maintain expert status on HubSpot; Recommend new tools to enhance cultivation, engagement, and customization
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and ministry needs
